Jeddah: The Union of News Agencies (UNA) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in cooperation with Russia’s Sputnik News Agency, is set to conduct a virtual workshop on October 20, 2025, focusing on techniques to detect deepfakes using artificial intelligence (AI).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshop is designed to highlight specific aspects of AI applications, especially in identifying deepfakes and mitigating their use as evidence or references in critical cases.
