Cannes: The Saudi Media Forum is participating in MIPCOM, one of the world’s most prominent gatherings for television production and creative content, currently underway in Cannes, France. This marks the forum’s second consecutive year at MIPCOM as part of its efforts to strengthen its international presence and expand global media partnerships.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum’s participation presents a strategic opportunity to unveil several new initiatives and projects, which will be formally announced during the fifth edition of the Saudi Media Forum, scheduled for February 2 to 4, 2026, in Riyadh.
Among the key highlights, the forum will announce a series of collaborations. A workshop will also be held to promote investment opportunities in the Kingdom’s production sector, fostering a strategic framework for cooperation in both production and distribution.
Additionally, the forum will showcase an updated version of its flagship FOMEX exhibition, one of the largest media technology exhibitions in the region.
Chairman of the Saudi Media Forum and CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority Mohammed Al-Harthi said the forum has achieved a prominent international position, thanks to the integration of high-quality content, diverse participation, and an expanding network of strategic partnerships. He highlighted that the forum’s global reach strengthens Saudi Arabia’s role on the world’s media map, providing a platform to influence the future of the media industry by connecting key decision-makers, leading institutions, and experts worldwide.
Al-Harthi further noted that the Kingdom’s rapid advancements across multiple sectors-particularly in digital media-have made it an increasingly attractive environment for content creation and a strategic launchpad for initiatives with both local and global impact. He affirmed that the Saudi Media Forum is at the forefront of this evolution, continually adapting through valuable partnerships, specialized dialogues, and platforms that align with global shifts in the media industry.
