Makkah: Umm Al-Qura University's 'Rafid Al-Haramain' volunteer team has begun providing services to pilgrims at their accommodation sites near Al-Rajhi Mosque in Makkah, as part of the university's efforts to serve pilgrims and promote a culture of volunteerism during the 1447 AH Hajj season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, volunteers provided welcoming guidance and field support to pilgrims, responded to their inquiries, and directed them, thereby facilitating their movement and enhancing their sense of reassurance from the moment they arrived at their accommodation sites.
These efforts reflect Umm Al-Qura University's continued role in supporting the Hajj, Umrah, and visit ecosystem, mobilizing its human, academic, research, and volunteer capacities to serve pilgrims by training volunteers and equipping them with the necessary skills, in cooperation with relevant entities.
