Riyadh: The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) concluded the final rounds of the RoboRAVE International robotics competition, held at Riyadh Technical College for Boys, with the participation of 570 competitors from various regions of the Kingdom. The event was organized in cooperation with the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports (SFRRCS) and AI Arena Academy.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the competition attracted wide attendance and featured contests across various age groups distributed over four levels. Challenges included Line Follower - Ball Carrier, maze, Sumo, Soccer, FastBot, and entrepreneurial tracks, promoting creativity, innovation, and broader participation.
The competition aimed to develop participants' skills in designing, building, and programming robots, as well as working with sensors. It also promoted concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship, contributing to preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with rapid technological developments and future requirements.
