Madinah: The number of licensed hospitality facilities in the Madinah Region increased to over 450 by the end of 2024, reflecting a significant growth of 93% compared to 2023, according to the Ministry of Tourism. The number of licensed rooms recorded a 62% rise from the previous year, approaching 62,000 rooms.

According to Saudi Press Agency, based on the ministry’s statistics, Madinah ranked third in Saudi Arabia, following Makkah and Riyadh regions, in terms of the number of licensed hospitality facilities across Saudi Arabia’s regions and cities.
