Tourism Minister Engages with Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister on GCC Cooperation

Manama: Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb met Thursday with Bahrain's Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, in the presence of tourism ministers from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 10th Meeting of the Ministers Responsible for Tourism in the GCC Countries in Manama.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Khateeb expressed his gratitude to the Bahraini deputy prime minister for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. He affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and emphasized the ongoing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the tourism sector.

Discussions during the meeting focused on developments in the tourism sector, potential growth opportunities, and strategies to enhance tourism cooperation and integration among GCC countries. The meeting also explored ways to further develop cooperation and exchange expertise to support the sector's growth and bolster its competitiveness on a regional and international scale, with continuous support from GCC leaders.
