Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) has introduced specialized online training programs in history and historical sources through its platform on FutureX, the National e-Learning Platform affiliated with the National Center for e-Learning. These programs are designed to broaden access to historical knowledge, enhance research capabilities, and enable researchers, students, and interested individuals to work with historical sources using sound scientific and methodological principles.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the programs integrate academic content with practical applications, self-paced activities, online assessments, and supplementary resources tailored to each specific field. These initiatives are part of Darah's broader efforts to provide training in historical information and materials, facilitate access to its sources, and develop specialized knowledge programs. The programs also aim to encourage and support researchers in their endeavors.

The launch of these online training programs aligns with Darah's strategic objectives of reinforcing its role in preserving the history and heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the Arab and Islamic worlds.
