The Governor of Diyala discusses with the Iranian Ambassador joint cooperation and preparations to receive Iranian visitors

The Governor of Diyala, Muthanna Al-Tamimi, discussed with the Iranian Ambassador, Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, the joint cooperation between the two countries and the governorate's preparations to receive 50,000 visitors daily through Al-Mundhiriya port.

The Governor of Diyala said in a statement that he had received the Iranian Ambassador in his office in the provincial office, and they discussed the preparations of the management of the Al-Mundhiriya border crossing to receive the arrivals for the Arbaeen visit and to see the progress of work on the Iraqi and Iranian sides.

Al-Tamimi stressed during the meeting that the health and service departments are fully prepared to receive visitors. He called on the central government to support the service departments for the success of this visit.

On the other hand, the Governor of Diyala visited the Al-Mundhiriya crossing from the Iraqi side and the Khosravi crossing from the Iranian side on the ground, and held a meeting with the management of the two crossings, during which they reviewed the final preparations for receiving Iranian visitors to perform the Arbaeen visit.
