The Border Forces Command announced today, Monday, the arrest of (12) foreign infiltrators who tried to cross the border illegally in Nineveh and Dohuk.

The Command stated in a statement, "The detachments of the first regiment in the Seventeenth Border Brigade within the Sixth Region Border Command managed to arrest (4) infiltrators of foreign nationality who tried to cross the border illegally, west of Nineveh, and the detachments of the third regiment managed in the First Border Brigade within the Border Command of the first region arrested (8) foreign infiltrators who tried to cross the border illegally in Dohuk Governorate.

It added, "They were handed over to the competent authorities to take legal measures against them."
