Taif to Host Rose, Aromatic Plants Global Forum on Sunday

Taif: Under the patronage of Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz and in the presence of Taif Governor Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the inaugural edition of the Rose and Aromatic Plants Global Forum will commence on Sunday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum, running until April 26, will feature dialogue sessions and workshops organized by Taif University, along with an accompanying exhibition where participants can explore the most notable innovations and products in the field. In addition, Taif will unveil the Kingdom’s largest rose tifo through the ‘Tifo Rose Walk’ at the Arruddaf Park, creating a stunning public artwork that reflects the identity of the city of roses.

This forum serves as a strategic initiative to strengthen the Kingdom’s status as a global hub for the production and manufacturing of roses and aromatic plants, particularly the Taif Rose, a symbol of Saudi perfumery and one of the most prominent local products with international recognition.

The forum aims to establish strategic partnerships and attract investments in the sectors of roses and aromatic plants. This initiative aligns with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to diversify income sources and elevate the culture and status of national products.
