Cairo: Speaker of the Shura Council and President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh will chair the 43rd session of the union's Executive Committee tomorrow in Cairo, with participation from representatives of member Arab parliaments and legislative councils.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al Al-Sheikh stated in a press release that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, places significant importance on joint Arab efforts. The Kingdom continues to support initiatives aimed at strengthening inter-Arab coordination. Al Al-Sheikh highlighted that parliamentary diplomacy is essential for unifying stances, advancing Arab causes, and reinforcing regional stability.

Al Al-Sheikh further noted that the executive committee convenes at a period requiring stronger parliamentary coordination and effective operational mechanisms. He emphasized the need to build on existing achievements and prioritize practical programs to enhance the union's impact on regional and international stages.
