Secretary-General of IMCTC Receives Ugandan Military Attach©

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghidi received Military Attach© of the Republic of Uganda to the Kingdom Colonel Younes Bagada at the coalition’s headquarters in Riyadh today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, Colonel Bagada was briefed on the coalition’s key activities and its multi-domain approach to combating terrorism, which spans the intellectual, media, counter-terrorism financing, and military sectors. He also reviewed the IMCTC’s publications, studies, and research within these areas.

The Ugandan official toured the Coalition’s situation assessment room, where he was introduced to the monitoring and analysis systems used to track terrorist groups and incidents worldwide.

Major General Al-Moghidi commended Uganda’s continuing efforts in countering terrorism, particularly its rigorous legislation targeting terrorism financing and its commitment to international partnerships.

Colonel Bagada praised the IMCTC’s comprehensive strategy and initiatives, emphasizing that the coalition’s coordinated international framework serves as a critical pillar in the global effort to combat terrorism across member states.
