Riyadh, The Secretary General of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO) Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Tuwaijri, appreciated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s initiative to launch a donation campaign to collect much-needed humanitarian material to the Palestinian people, to alleviate their suffering resulting from the brutal Israeli army attacks on Gaza Strip as well as the use of arbitrary measures to hinder humanitarian work inside Palestine.
On behalf of heads of associations in the Arab world, Dr. Al-Tuwaijri expressed deep thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for this kind gesture announcing the donation campaign and opening it with rewarding sums, asking Allah Almighty to make this count in their good deeds record, praising the diplomatic role that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is playing to stop military operations against Palestinians.
Al-Tuwaijri urged the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop military operations and open the crossings completely without restriction for the entry of relief aid, drawing attention to the fierce military attacks to which the Palestinians are exposed, in a blatant violation of international agreements and the principles of international humanitarian law.
