Dhahran: The 12th Saudi Film Festival, organized by the Cinema Association in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) and supported by the Film Commission, wrapped up its events in Dhahran. The festival concluded with an awards ceremony that honored competition winners and offered a preview of features planned for the upcoming edition.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event showcased 50 films, encompassing features, shorts, and documentaries. Alongside these screenings, the festival hosted a variety of cultural and educational activities, including seminars, workshops, expert meetings, and book signings for the Saudi Cinema Encyclopedia.
Through these initiatives, the festival reinforced its role as a significant platform for Saudi cinema, enhancing its regional and international presence. It also continued to create new opportunities for cinematic stories to evolve from initial concepts to screen-ready productions.
