Riyadh: The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) today announced the launch of the third edition of the AI and Data Dictionary, which now includes Spanish among its languages. The latest edition was unveiled in collaboration with the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL), and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) during a specialized session at the fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the dictionary was initially launched in 2022 through cooperation between SDAIA and KSGAAL to compile key technical terms in data and AI with concise definitions. The initiative aims to enrich specialized content, raise technical awareness, and standardize scientific terms and concepts.
Since its inception, the dictionary has developed into a multilingual reference, with French added alongside Arabic and English. The addition of Spanish in the third edition further extends the dictionary's international reach, making it a valuable resource for a broader audience.
