Lahore: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is advancing its efforts to facilitate the departure of pilgrims from Lahore International Airport in Pakistan as part of the Makkah Route Initiative for the Hajj season 1447 AH. This initiative is being carried out by the Ministry of Interior under the Pilgrim Experience Program within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030. It involves coordination with multiple government and private entities, utilizing an integrated suite of digital solutions and technologies that are supported by data and artificial intelligence.
According to Saudi Press Agency, engineering and technical teams are operational around the clock to ensure system readiness and operational continuity. These teams are focused on maintaining efficient performance and integration through the operation of fixed and mobile workstations. Additionally, they are preparing the technical infrastructure in the initiative lounge to meet optimal specifications. The goal is to expedite the completion of various procedures as per an operational plan that was devised well in advance.
