SDAIA Enhances Airport Infrastructure to Aid Pilgrims at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport

Madinah: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is actively enhancing the capabilities at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah to better serve pilgrims. By deploying both technical and human resources, the initiative aims to streamline procedures and offer a secure, seamless digital experience for travelers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, SDAIA, through its National Information Center, has significantly developed the airport's digital infrastructure. Over 163 service points have been established across the international arrival and departure halls, as well as the Hajj terminals, to expedite procedures and improve traffic flow. Additionally, the implementation of technical solutions is designed to accelerate operations and enhance the overall traveler experience.

The initiative also includes the operation of 20 smart e-gates, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Passports, and the provision of backup systems to ensure services remain uninterrupted 24/7. SDAIA has employed data and artificial intelligence technologies to facilitate the entry procedures for pilgrims arriving at the airport.
