London: Saudia has achieved a new milestone in the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards and rankings, securing 15th place globally. The airline also won two awards: "Best Airline Staff Service in the Middle East" for the second consecutive year and "Best Airline Cabin Crew in the Middle East."

According to Saudi Press Agency, the results were announced during the World Airline Awards ceremony held in London. Saudia has continued its upward trajectory in the global rankings, climbing five places over two years, from 20th place in 2024 to 17th in 2025 and 15th this year.

Saudia's cabin crew topped the Skytrax rankings for the Middle East, while the airline maintained its regional leadership in the "Best Staff Service" category. The award is based on guest evaluations of services throughout various stages of the journey, from ground services at airports to the in-flight experience.

Director General of Saudia Group Eng. Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar emphasized that the results reflect the airline's continuous progress and strengthen its standing among the world's leading carriers. He noted that the excellence of the national workforce in service and hospitality exemplifies the pivotal role of human capital in the airline's transformation journey.

He explained that the workforce's efforts translate strategies into a tangible experience for guests and convey the Kingdom's image and authentic hospitality values to the world. He emphasized Saudia's continued investment in people, technology, and products to elevate the travel experience and enhance its global competitiveness.

The progress is part of Saudia's transformation aimed at enhancing the guest experience across all stages of travel by combining authentic Saudi hospitality with operational efficiency and digital solutions, while developing products, services, and human capital. These efforts align with the objectives of the Aviation Program and Saudi Vision 2030 and contribute to reinforcing the Kingdom's position as a global aviation hub.
