Orlando: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association (SASA) participated yesterday in the golden jubilee celebration of the charter partnership between the National Islamic Council and Scouting America. The celebration took place during Scouting America’s National Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida, with the attendance of representatives from scouting organizations worldwide.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the celebration, the Vice President of SASA, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Mudayris delivered a speech in which he emphasized the depth of the constructive partnership between the Saudi Boy Scouts and the Boy Scouts of America since the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two sides in 2008, praising the role that this relationship plays in enhancing cultural understanding, exchanging expertise, and implementing joint initiatives.
The SASA’s participation in this event affirms the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to its pioneering role in supporting global development efforts and building partnerships in the scouting field.
