Riyadh: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Riyadh has raised its emergency and operational readiness in conjunction with the Saudi National Day celebrations on September 23 and 24 by intensifying ambulance coverage and increasing the deployment of teams and vehicles across various locations, events, and vital areas in Riyadh Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the emergency coverage plan includes 104 sites across Riyadh Region, supported by 147 ambulances and 22 other response vehicles. The plan also includes deploying 57 on-foot ambulance teams at locations with high numbers of visitors and celebrants to provide immediate emergency medical response, support ambulance teams, and speed response to cases at celebration sites.

As part of integration and enhancing partnerships with relevant entities, five ambulance teams from the authority's partners are also participating, contributing to increased emergency coverage and coordinated efforts during the celebrations.
