Riyadh: Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) Board Chairman Ahmed Al-Rajhi launched the Comprehensive Career Guidance Initiative on the sidelines of the third annual Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC). The launch event was attended by HRDF Director-General Turki Al-Jawini and Human Capability Development Program (HCDP) Chief Executive Anas AlMudaifer. This initiative is aligned with the objectives of the HCDP, a significant component of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the readiness and competitiveness of national talent within the Saudi labor market.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Comprehensive Career Guidance Initiative is managed by the Human Resources Development Fund and is the first of its kind globally. It unifies all career guidance services into a single integrated system, enabling users to navigate suitable career paths through a comprehensive array of guidance services. These services include professional exploration of various professions, specialties, and the labor market, along with the identification of educational and training opportunities. This initiative offers a career guidance journey that effectively connects education with the labor market by utilizing the latest technological methods.
The initiative is designed to support students at the middle and high school levels, as well as those in vocational institutes, colleges, and universities. It also caters to recent graduates, employees, career counselors in schools and universities, and independent advisors. Additionally, the platform provides guidance content for parents to assist them in supporting their children's career decisions.
