Boston: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in the 2025 BIO International Convention on biotechnology, which will be held in Boston, United States, June 16 to 19. The Kingdom will be represented through an integrated national pavilion featuring leading health, scientific, and investment entities. Its participation reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting innovation and investment in advanced technologies, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Biotechnology Strategy.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the pavilion will include the participation of several government entities, such as the Ministry of Health, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), the Saudi National Institute of Health, the Public Health Authority, and the Saudi Health Council. It will feature leading research and healthcare institutions, along with investment entities, aiming to showcase the Kingdom’s capa
bilities in research, development, and clinical innovation, as well as its supportive regulatory environment for the sector.
Moreover, the participation will include the launch of the first Saudi biotech accelerator in collaboration with BioLabs USA. Eight national startup companies will be supported by connecting them with global expertise and enabling their access to international markets.
