Saudi Arabia Showcases Literary Richness at Rabat International Book Fair 2026

Rabat: The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission concluded its participation in the 31st Rabat International Book Fair, held from May 1 to 10 in Rabat. The Kingdom's participation featured a strong cultural presence reflecting the deep historical and intellectual ties between Saudi Arabia and Morocco.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Chief Executive Officer of the commission, Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Wasel, emphasized that the Kingdom's participation in the fair highlights the robust historical and cultural relations between the two countries. He noted that the primary aim was to introduce contemporary Saudi literary and intellectual output to the Moroccan public, showcasing the Kingdom's intellectual and creative diversity under Saudi Vision 2030.

The Saudi pavilion served as a comprehensive cultural platform, hosting a cultural program that featured several Saudi writers. The program included panel discussions and poetry readings, reflecting the vibrancy of the Kingdom's creative scene. These events attracted notable attendance, highlighting the growing interest in Saudi literary content.

Furthermore, the pavilion showcased national initiatives that support books and authors, alongside a presentation of Saudi publications across various fields of knowledge.
