Paris: During the 224th session of the UNESCO Executive Board in Paris, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented the Islamic University of Madinah as a global model for intercultural coexistence and global citizenship, highlighting its diverse academic environment that hosts students from 180 countries who study under principles of mutual respect and linguistic diversity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom reaffirmed its commitment to education for peace, emphasizing policies that promote tolerance and equality while rejecting violence, discrimination, and extremism. The address underscored that Saudi curricula are designed to foster human coexistence and justice, positioning education as a primary tool for international understanding.

Institutional efforts supporting these values were also featured, including the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, and the UNESCO Regional Center for Dialogue and Peace.

These organizations serve as national and regional benchmarks for promoting dialogue and understanding among global populations.
