Kuwait city: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), actively participated in the 21st meeting of the Civil Aviation Executive Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The event took place in Kuwait, hosted by the Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation, in collaboration with the GCC Secretariat, and saw the involvement of all member states.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi delegation was led by GACA President and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, Abdulaziz Al-Duailej. During the meeting, Al-Duailej emphasized the importance of unifying cooperation among GCC states concerning civil aviation, which plays a crucial role in bolstering the civil aviation industry across the region and coordinating collective efforts.

Al-Duailej reiterated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing joint GCC action in civil aviation by supporting integration in areas such as safety and security, infrastructure development, and the adoption of technological innovations to improve the sector’s efficiency and sustainability.

In his concluding remarks, Al-Duailej extended his gratitude to the GCC General Secretariat for its ongoing support, as well as to the members of the Executive Committee for their diligent work and cooperation. He expressed optimism that the meeting would yield recommendations that further support joint GCC initiatives in the civil aviation sector.
