According to Saudi Press Agency, the venue has completed its organizational and technical preparations for the anticipated Gulf event. This final marks another significant occasion for the complex, which is recognized as one of the leading sports venues in Saudi Arabia and the region.
Opened in 2014 with a capacity of over 62,000 spectators, King Abdullah Sports City has hosted numerous continental and international matches, enhancing Jeddah's reputation as a premier destination for major sporting events. The stadium has previously hosted King's Cup finals and the AFC Champions League Elite finals in 2025 and 2026, where Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli claimed the continental trophy on both occasions. It has also been the venue for Saudi Super Cup finals and several regional and international competitions.
