Jeddah: The Saudi permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, hosted a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Ambassador Mohammad Hassan Sheikh Al-Islami, at the delegation's headquarters in the Makkah Region. This meeting marked a significant engagement between the representatives of Saudi Arabia and Iran within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the two diplomats engaged in discussions on a range of topics that hold mutual interest for both nations. They also addressed issues related to the organization and its various bodies. Both representatives highlighted the pivotal role of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, particularly in the context of contemporary global challenges. The organization stands as the second largest multilateral governmental entity in the world, following the United Nations.
