Roads General Authority Launches Safe Roads Guide for Ramadan

Makkah: The Roads General Authority (RGA) announced the launch of the safe roads guide during the holy month of Ramadan: The initiative comes as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance safety standards and raise awareness among road users to improve quality of life and achieve the highest levels of safety and efficiency across the road network.

According to Saudi Press Agency, RGA explained that the guide includes a range of tips and guidelines directed at users of all road networks during the Ramadan season. The authority has been entrusted with overseeing and regulating the road sector by developing the necessary policies and legislation. RGA works to achieve the targets of the Roads Sector Program, which focuses on safety, quality, and traffic density. The program aims to rank sixth globally in road quality and reduce fatalities to fewer than five per 100,000 people by 2030.
