Roads Authority Issues Guide for Safe Hajj Routes to Makkah

Makkah: The Roads General Authority has issued a 1447 AH Hajj road guide, outlining key routes to Makkah and providing guidance to ensure the safe and smooth movement of pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the guide highlights major international land routes to Makkah from Oman, Iraq, the UAE, Qatar, Yemen, Bahrain, and Kuwait. It offers detailed information to assist travelers in navigating these routes effectively and safely.

The guide also emphasizes mobile services available along pilgrimage routes. These services include mobile fuel stations and air-conditioned service points offering cold drinks to assist pilgrims in the event of bus breakdowns. Additionally, roadside tents have been set up for rest and guidance, ensuring that pilgrims have access to necessary support throughout their journey.

In a bid to enhance safety and provide immediate assistance, the guide lists emergency contact numbers for relevant authorities. These include the Civil Defense, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, and the Ministry of Health, facilitating quick response in case of emergencies during the pilgrimage.
