The Riyadh Charitable Foundation for Science has announced the extension of the Science and Technology Festival (STEM 2024), organized by the King Salman Science Oasis under the theme "Discover Your Passion ... Unleash Your Potential," through the end of November. The extension comes due to the significant turnout of visitors at the festival, reflecting the foundation's desire to provide opportunities for as many school students as possible, as well as for visitors and those interested in the fields of science and technology in general. On this occasion, Riyadh Philanthropic Society for Sciences vice president Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf praised the support of Riyadh Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, who is also chairman of the board of trustees of the foundation, and the special attention he pays to supporting and empowering the youth. He affirmed that the foundation is committed to supporting quality projects and scientific activities that foster knowledge and enhance the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in priority sectors to prepare competitive global citizens in line with the national strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. STEM 2024, which began in the beginning of September, offers a comprehensive educational, cultural, and entertainment experience through 25 pavilions, in addition to many accompanying activities. This year's theme, "Chemistry and Petrochemicals," was chosen because it is considered a vital economic sector, representing a key contributor to Saudi Arabia's non-oil exports.
