Rising Temperatures and Gusty Winds Expected in Eastern and Riyadh Regions

Riyadh: Maximum temperatures are expected to rise over parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions on Wednesday. Gusty winds capable of stirring dust will affect these regions, as well as areas in the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, and Madinah regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderclouds accompanied by gusty winds and hail may occur over parts of the highlands in the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. This weather pattern could lead to challenging conditions in these areas.

Winds over the Red Sea are forecasted to be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, with speeds ranging from 15 to 34 km/h, and northwesterly to westerly in the southern part, with speeds of 10 to 25 km/h. Waves in the Red Sea are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, maintaining a relatively calm sea state.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to westerly winds are anticipated at speeds of 12 to 27 km/h, with waves ranging from half a meter to one meter, resulting in calm sea conditions.
