Jazan Skywatchers Gather to Observe Peak Venus-Jupiter Conjunction

Jazan: The Cultural House in Jazan hosted an astronomical phenomena program yesterday, bringing together astronomy enthusiasts and skywatchers to witness the peak of the Venus-Jupiter conjunction.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program was organized by the Space and Astronomy Club of the Harf Educational Association. It featured the observation of one of the most remarkable celestial events visible in the night sky.

Participants had the opportunity to observe the apparent conjunction of Venus and Jupiter through astronomical instruments. The two planets appeared exceptionally close together, creating a spectacle visible to the naked eye after sunset.

They also learned about the nature of the conjunction phenomenon, which occurs when two planets appear close together in the sky even though millions of kilometers separate them.
