Madinah: During the first 10 days of Dhu Al-Hijjah, Quba Mosque welcomes pilgrims and visitors amid an integrated and comprehensive set of services designed to facilitate access and manage visitor flow, ensuring a comfortable and spiritually enriching experience for those visiting the first mosque established in Islam.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Madinah Region Development Authority oversees the mosque's operations and the services provided to worshippers, including managing entry and exit flows, intensifying cleaning and sanitation efforts, and providing multilingual guidance and awareness services. The authority also monitors the readiness of all facilities and support services around the clock.
As one of the most prominent destinations in Madinah, Quba Mosque holds deep historical and religious significance, having been founded by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) upon his arrival in Madinah. The expansion of services reflects broader efforts by various entities in Madinah during the Hajj season to care for the Two Holy Mosques and Islamic sites. These initiatives align with the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, which prioritize the comfort and safety of pilgrims.
