Northern Borders Governor Reviews Eid Al-Adha Preparations with Government and Security Agencies

Northern borders: Governor of Northern Borders Region Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz chaired a meeting focused on the preparations for Eid Al-Adha by government, security, and service agencies at the principality.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Faisal emphasized the need for integrated efforts among relevant entities to enhance field readiness and ensure the provision of necessary services to citizens, residents, and visitors. He also highlighted the importance of mobilizing resources to support pilgrims arriving via the Jadidat Arar border crossing.

During the meeting, the governor assessed plans from the various agencies, which included preparations of public parks and gardens, enhancements in cleaning and sanitation, and the organization of traffic. Additionally, preventive measures were discussed to maintain the continuity of electrical services across the region's cities, governorates, and centers.

Prince Faisal also reviewed the operational progress at the Jadidat Arar land border crossing. Discussions covered the coordination among entities to streamline entry procedures and provide health, guidance, and organizational services to pilgrims.

The meeting further addressed operational plans for Eid Al-Adha, focusing on intensified inspections at markets and food establishments to ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations. Preparations for livestock markets and slaughterhouses were also discussed, along with the organization of sacrificial animal processes.

Various other topics on the agenda were reviewed, and necessary recommendations were made to ensure successful Eid Al-Adha preparations.
