Dammam:The State of Qatar has condemned the recent attack by the Houthi group on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, which resulted in two fatalities, several injuries, and material damage. The attack has been described by Qatar as a serious violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a direct threat to regional security, the safety of civilians and civilian infrastructure, and air navigation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement today reaffirming Qatar's complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia. The statement expressed support for all legitimate measures that the Kingdom may take to protect its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests. The ministry emphasized that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of Qatar's security, as well as the collective security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
The Qatari Ministry also extended its condolences to the families of the victims and wished those injured in the attack a speedy recovery.
