Riyadh: Governor of Qassim Region Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz visited the Buraidah International Dates Carnival today, where he reviewed date auctions and buying, selling, and marketing activities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, he was briefed on the logistical services provided by specialized companies in shipping, packaging, and distribution, which help preserve the quality of dates and ensure their efficient delivery to destinations across the Kingdom and global markets.

Transportation and shipping services cover all regions of the Kingdom and more than 100 cities and governorates, while air freight services reach more than 70 countries.

The governor emphasized the importance of continuing to develop the palm and date sector and expanding processing industries to increase the added economic value of dates and strengthen the presence of national products in all markets.
