Islamic Republic of Pakistan: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his accompanying delegation have visited the Muslim World League (MWL) headquarters, where they were received by league Secretary General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa. Sharif commended MWL’s endeavors to foster Muslim solidarity, unite the voices of Muslim scholars, and convey the true message of Islam.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit highlighted the importance of collaboration between Pakistan and the MWL in promoting peace and understanding within the Muslim community globally. The discussions between Sharif and Dr. Al-Issa focused on strategies to enhance cooperation in addressing challenges faced by Muslims around the world.
The meeting also emphasized the need for continued dialogue and partnership to counteract misconceptions about Islam and to support educational initiatives that promote a more accurate understanding of the religion. Both leaders agreed on the significance of
strengthening ties between Muslim-majority countries to better serve their communities and address common issues.
