Dammam: Parks and green spaces are a key pillar of tourism development and quality of life. Beyond serving as natural retreats, they have evolved into integrated recreational destinations that attract visitors of all ages while adding sustainable environmental and aesthetic value.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in line with the objectives of the Quality of Life Program and Saudi Vision 2030, the Eastern Region Municipality continues to expand green spaces and enhance the urban landscape through a range of development projects.

The municipality stated that Eastern Region is home to more than 980 parks and public squares, 18 major parks, 14 waterfront destinations, and 213 walking tracks.

It added that its parks and green space projects are designed in accordance with modern planning standards to meet the needs of all segments of society by providing areas for recreation and relaxation, as well as facilities for sports and social activities.
