Pakistani Prime Minister Arrives in Jeddah

Jeddah: Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and his accompanying delegation arrived in Jeddah today. Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was received by Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Mayor of Jeddah Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and a number of officials.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit marks another step in the ongoing diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The Prime Minister’s arrival in Jeddah is seen as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss mutual interests between the two countries. The welcoming committee at the airport reflects the importance attributed to the visit by the Saudi authorities.
