OIC Secretary-General Receives Credentials of Azerbaijan’s New Permanent Representative

Jeddah: Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha received today in Jeddah Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Saudi Arabia Mutallim Mirzayev, who presented his credentials as his country's permanent representative to the organization.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the secretary-general commended Azerbaijan's active role played within the OIC and praised its preparations to host the 16th Islamic Summit Conference in 2027, reflecting member states' confidence in Azerbaijan's constructive engagement in the organization.

Mirzayev emphasized Azerbaijan's strong commitment to the OIC and to strengthening cooperation across various fields, reaffirming his country's commitment to supporting the organization's objectives and hosting the upcoming Islamic Summit.
