Jeddah: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the attacks carried out by the Houthi militia targeting the Najran region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in 11 civilians being injured. It affirmed that these attacks constitute a dangerous escalation and a deliberate assault on the security of civilians and civilian property.
According to Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the General Secretariat reaffirmed the OIC's firm and unequivocal rejection of all terrorist and destructive acts aimed at undermining security and stability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and throughout the region, stressing that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia constitutes a fundamental pillar of the security and stability of the entire Muslim world.
The General Secretariat reiterated its full solidarity with and absolute support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures and actions it undertakes to protect its territory, safeguard its security, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents.
The General Secretariat also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in confronting these blatant attacks, which violate international laws and norms and threaten regional peace and security.
