National Security in Anbar arrests the impersonator of the Deputy Director of the Prime Minister’s office

The National Security Agency in Anbar announced today, Monday, the ouster of the impersonator, of the Deputy Director of the Prime Minister's Office.

A statement by the Agency stated, “Based on confirmed intelligence information about a person in Anbar governorate impersonating the title of Deputy Director of the Prime Minister’s office, judicial approvals were obtained and the aforementioned suspect was investigated, as it was found that he works as a government employee in the province and impersonates the status of affiliation with the Prime Minister’s office.” Immediately, a force from the Agency moved and arrested him. During the initial investigation, he admitted that he impersonated the Director of the office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and then the Deputy Director of the Prime Minister’s office, in addition to carrying out (19) fraudulent operations by calling officials and Directors General to pass some transactions and obtain facilities and privileges for other people in exchange for sums of money and tourist trips obtained after the completion of each operation.

The statement continued, "The accused was handed over to the judicial authorities to receive his punishment in accordance with the law."/ End
