Riyadh: National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh today to participate in the One Water Summit. Upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport, the National Leader of the Turkmen People was received by Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan Saeed bin Othman Suwayed, and several other officials.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit of Berdimuhamedov is seen as an important step in strengthening the bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia, particularly in the areas of water resource management and sustainable development. The One Water Summit aims to address global water challenges and promote cooperation among nations to ensure the sustainable use of water resources. The participation of Turkmenistan’s leader underlines the significance of these issues for the country.
The
summit is expected to bring together leaders, experts, and stakeholders from various countries to discuss strategies and solutions for effective water management.
