Riyadh: The Muslim World League (MWL) has welcomed the Syrian government's announcement regarding a ceasefire agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces, under a comprehensive deal that includes the integration of self-administration institutions into the Syrian state institutions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, MWL Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa expressed appreciation for the mediation efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States. He praised both parties for their positive engagement, noting that the agreement supports the Syrian people's aspirations for security and stability.

Al-Issa reaffirmed the league's full support for the Syrian government's ongoing efforts to protect its citizens while preserving the nation's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
