Muslim World League Welcomes Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Saudi Arabia, Trkiye, Pakistan

Makkah: The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed the joint statement issued following the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Summit for Joint Defence between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Trkiye, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, hosted in Makkah at the invitation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the resulting Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, signed by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister; President of the Republic of Trkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan; and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa highly commended the agreement, particularly as it is founded on bonds of brotherhood and Islamic solidarity to enhance collective security and promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region in particular and the international community in general.
