Makkah: The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has activated its emergency and crisis center to manage seasonal field reports during the 1447 AH Hajj season through its award-winning "Emerge" system, recognized globally as a top-three smart city emergency platform.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the center operates an entirely automated lifecycle from initial alert assessment to full recovery. It ensures real-time operational coordination across the Makkah and Madinah municipalities. Furthermore, the center is responsible for monitoring field center readiness, updating vehicle and equipment inventories, and managing around-the-clock shift rotations. This deployment aims to enhance the management of potential crises during the Hajj season, ensuring a seamless and efficient response to any incidents that may arise.
