Saudi arabia: Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) Chairman Eng. Majed Al-Argoubi has announced the appointment of Mahmoud Al-Shanqiti as MODON's official spokesperson. This appointment is in addition to Al-Shanqiti's existing role as director of marketing and communications.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this decision is part of MODON's strategy to enhance effective institutional communication practices. The aim is to build robust communication channels with the public and the media, thereby increasing transparency and ensuring easier access to information regarding the authority's initiatives and projects.

Al-Shanqiti's credentials include a bachelor's degree in media and a higher diploma in radio and television. He brings over 17 years of experience in the field, having advanced through various roles at television channels before transitioning to government service. In his governmental career, he has occupied leadership and administrative roles and has chaired several governmental teams and committees.
