The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Head of the Union of Arab Journalists, Moayad Al-Lami, discussed, during a conference he held with the press family in the holy city of Karbala today, the media work and the media plan during the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The Head of the Journalists Syndicate stressed during the conference that the Journalists Syndicate seeks to develop media work in proportion to the status of the media in society and its role in moving public opinion towards higher values.

He added that the Journalists Syndicate will never allow those among its ranks to use the media as a means of slander, blackmail and yellow journalism, and we will not stand idly by towards these people.

The Head of the Journalists Syndicate discussed with Karbala journalists and media figures related to the incentive grant, affiliation to the Syndicate, and the distribution of plots of land, as he promised to follow up these issues and find effective solutions for them.
