Riyadh: King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) today launched its first joint training program with Huawei Tech. Investment Saudi Arabia Co. Ltd. to equip Saudi university students with advanced skills in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies through specialized training in Shenzhen, China. The program offers comprehensive training in the fundamentals of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and foundation models, as well as AI development frameworks and the latest technological innovations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program is part of a memorandum of understanding signed between Mawhiba and Huawei on June 17 to equip 500 beneficiaries with advanced technical skills through an integrated system of training and professional development programs. The partnership provides training opportunities, implements certification and examination programs supervised by Huawei experts, and offers specialized training for faculty members at Saudi universities on Huawei's platforms and technologies.
