Makkah Municipality Maintains Full Preparedness for Hajj

Makkah: The Holy Makkah Municipality continues to implement its operational and field plans for the 1447 AH Hajj season, maintaining full readiness to serve pilgrims through integrated municipal, operational, and regulatory services. These efforts aim to enhance preparedness in Makkah and the holy sites, improve service quality, and ensure a healthy and safe environment throughout the season. According to Saudi Press Agency, more than 22,000 field personnel have been deployed across key locations, supported by over 3,000 vehicles and equipment units to ensure rapid response times, operational efficiency, and uninterrupted municipal services. The municipality has also strengthened health and food safety monitoring through five fixed and mobile laboratories capable of analyzing more than 1,300 samples daily, supporting inspection teams and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. In addition, the municipality is advancing innovation and digital transformation by utilizing smart systems and digital pla tforms to monitor field operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality and speed of services provided during Hajj.
